I am sure many of you have been hearing about Fifty Shades of Grey and wondering what that is, or what it is about. Well, it is a 3 part novel written by E.L. James, and it has become quite popular worldwide, especially with the women folk. The three books are namely Fifty Shades of Grey, Fifty Shades Darker and Fifty Shades Freed.
I got my hands on the trilogy about a month ago, in PDF format, and I was practically glued to my laptop! This made me realize that a kindle or tablet would probably do me good.
Everything you have heard about Fifty Shades of Grey is utterly and completely true J think of it as a Mills & Boon novel on mad overdrive.
The story revolves around Anastasia Steele, a young woman in her twenties, who loves literature and has had practically no experience when it comes to men. She meets Christian Grey, the multi millionaire Adonis, with the smoldering grey eyes who takes her world by storm. At first, their expectations of each other are quite different, but they both try and compromise to suit both their needs. Their relationship is definitely not conventional, and that is what makes this book so interesting. I am really trying not to give away any spoilers, but it is sort of proving to be hard.
There is a Christian Grey twitter account, how hot is this man?? Follow him @ChristianTGrey he will definitely spice up your timeline.
Their relationship is electric, romantic, dramatic, and it is just setting your expectations quite high for relationships that can never come into fruison. What are the chances of you meeting a hot bigillionaire, who will fly you in his helicopter, and buy you cars, houses and jewellery from Cartier?! Zip! Zilch! Nada! You need to have an open mind while you read through Ana and Christian’s trials and tribulations. Their antiques in the red room are…… interesting to say the least. I have told the women I have forwarded the books to, to ensure they have someone they can practice what they read with 😉
I honestly think men should buy this book for their women, I guarantee a significant change in the bedroom. This book makes you want to be more risqué, helps you move out of your comfort zone and be more adventurous. Studies show that reading is good for women, so go ahead and get her a copy. I think you will also learn a thing or two if you are a man.
I particularly loved the ending of the book where we get to see a different side to the story. But in a nutshell, it is just your basic love story where couples meet, they fall in love, something bad happens which tears them apart, and then they find themselves back together, THE END!
